If someone told me that a certain college football program could “reel” in eleven verbal commits in one weekend, I would think you were crazy. This coaching staff at A-State is different though, and they LOVE being different! To say “Big Pack Weekend” at Arkansas State was a success would be an understatement. ELEVEN, yes I said eleven decided to commit during and after “Big Pack”. The Red Wolves now have 16 total commits for the 2016 class. That total is tied with Ball State for 5th overall in the G5. The only teams that have more commits in the Group of 5 at this point are SMU, Western Michigan, Toledo, and Miami (OH). These football coaches at A-State seem like they are all on the same page and will do whatever necessary to get their guys that they want. If you don’t follow the coaching staff on twitter, you’re missing out, these guys are hilarious! From the “BOOMS” when a recruit pulls the trigger to all the different “GIF” they put out, it’s quite entertaining. I think the social media being used by these coaches is not only a good recruiting tool, but it’s a great way to continue to get the Arkansas State name out there in the national media. It seems like the brand is at an all time high and will only get better. Coach Blake Anderson and his whole staff here are truly Building A Monster!
