JONESBORO, Ark. (7/11/14) — Limited space remains for the Arkansas State women’s soccer Boys’ and Girls’ Skills camp and potential campers need to sign-up as soon as possible to assure their spot in the camp.
The skills camp is set for July 14-17 at Arkansas State football practice fields, adjacent to Centennial Bank Stadium. Children ages 4-12 may attend the camp, which goes from 8-11 a.m. each day.
The cost to attend the camps is $90 and includes a t-shirt. Campers will receive instruction and training in all phases of soccer from the current A-State coaching staff.
The goal for day campers at Red Wolves Soccer Camps is to provide the young soccer player the opportunity to come to an environment where they will not only learn a great deal about the game, but will also have an extremely enjoyable experience on a daily basis. We will have a very strong emphasis on the technical aspects of soccer as well as encouraging individual creativity, but we’ll also have fun involving each player in games and contests throughout the week.
Our enthusiastic and dynamic staff will be made up of Arkansas State University coaches as well as current and former Red Wolves soccer players. Campers will be grouped by both age and ability. We will keep a small camper-to-coach ratio in order to give each player the most individualized attention possible.
