T.J Hammonds Recruiting Update

A recent offer out to T.J Hammonds has him feeling good and very excited. Hammonds says that it was an honor to have received an offer from Arkansas State. The 5’11” and nearly 200 pound Athlete could be exactly was Arkansas State is looking for. The three star Athlete, projects as a running back for Arkansas State. A combination of speed and power describe this stud Athlete from Little Rock, Arkansas. Hammonds has been clocked in at 4.42 in the 40 yard dash and has great agility to go with his speed.

Coach Paschall and Coach Taylor have been on him according to Hammonds. He said coach Paschall told his coach a couple of days ago that Arkansas state was going to offer, but he didn’t know anything about it until today after his conversation with Taylor. He spoke with Coach Trooper Taylor and he was telling Hammonds how they really want him and that he can come in and contribute right away. When Taylor asked where they stand with Hammonds, he told Taylor that he didn’t have an offer yet, but they still stood on his list really good. Taylor told him that he had an offer and Hammonds was super excited.

Hammonds then told Taylor that he’s just trying to take it all in because he will take his commitment very seriously. When he commits to a school that’s where he is going. At the current time, he doesn’t have a school list of where each stands as of now. He did say that Arkansas State is in the mix, but he isn’t sure where is going to commit yet until he visits the schools that have offered.

Rivals.Com has Hammonds receiving offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Duke, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Oklahoma State, TCU, Tulsa, and Vanderbilt, but the Red Wolves plan to make an impact on Hammonds in hopes to not only keep him in state, but to bring him to North East Arkansas to Arkansas State University.
